Puno is a city in the southeastern part of Peru, situated on the banks of Lake Titicaca. It serves as the capital city of the Puno Region and the Puno Province. Puno is home to several churches that date back to the colonial era, which were established to cater to the Spanish population and spread Christianity among the natives.
