DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES

SHARED HALF DAY BUENOS AIRES CITY TOUR

Duration: 3 hours approx.

On an unforgettable route, we will live all the porteño magic. These few hours feature all the magic of Argentina`s capital city. In this most complete overview of the Paris of South America we will visit the glamorous neighborhoods of Recoleta and its most famous cemetery, Palermo, May Square and the Pink House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the newest & trendiest Puerto Madero Area and many other emblematic buildings and palaces of unique architectural, historical, and cultural value. The visit would not be complete without the sights of the first settlements of the city of Buenos Aires. The pintoresque neighborhood of San Telmo, residence to the porteño aristocracy until the end of the XIX century and where the renowned antiques market is held every Sunday; Caminito Street, in the colorful, Italian immigrants neighborhood of La Boca.

In this tour the passenger enjoys an authentic field day in an exclusive Estancia in San Antonio de Areco. At the beginning of the tour the group will travel to San Antonio de Areco and you will be able to enjoy a close view of our pampa along the way and at the same time receive a full explanation from one of our specialized guides. Upon arrival in San Antonio de Areco, the group will take a tour of the town, which includes a walk through the historic heart of this small town. Following that the group will head to the exclusive Estancia 'El Ombu de Areco'. Once at the ranch, passengers can take horseback rides or take a sulky ride while enjoying the traditional "Argentine EMPANADAS" and drinks. At lunchtime the group will enjoy a typical "ASADO" using only the first class meats. quality. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

This tour will offer the passengers a different way to explore and enjoy the nature, very close to the city. On the way north to Tigre, which is about 30 km away from Buenos Aires, and one of the biggest Deltas in the world, you will go through one of the most beautiful accesses downtown, passing by residential suburban neighborhoods with their calm narrow roads, Yacht clubs, and mansions. Departing from Tigre`s pier, on board of a typical island launch, the green labyrinth of channels and streams will open its doors to let you explore the nature of its islands, enjoying the views of beautiful riverside villas, Victorian docks, English gardens, and traditional rowing and boating clubs. For more that 100 years, the maze of rivers and channels of the Tigre Delta have been a favourite weekend gateway for "porteños". During this relaxing off-site, you will leave the bustling city behind and enter a world that has changed little since the 1920s

SHARED HALF DAY IGUAZU FALLS (BRASIL SIDE)

Located on the west end of the Paraná river, the Iguazú Park is a huge tropical rainforest which has been declared a World Heritage Site: it is one of the largest forest reserves in South America. Countless flora and fauna species live in it. We will take an elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level. From a 1,000-meter footbridge, we will be able to admire the majestic Iguazú Falls or go up an elevator to the Salto Floreano viewpoint.

DAY5: PUERTO IGUAZU

SHARED FULL DAY IGUAZU FALLS (ARGENTINA SIDE)

Iguazú National Park a total of 55,500 hectares bears the name of the river serving as northern border, which means "great waters" in the guaraní language. Surrounded by a lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles. We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil"s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: water falls down from 80 meters.

DAY 7: CALAFATE

SHARED FULL DAY PERITO MORENO GLACIER

Duration: 8 hs approx. - Available all year

Highlights: Perito Moreno Glacier The Perito Moreno Glacier rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle. We will start by penetrating the Patagonic Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at "Curva de los Suspiros" (Curve of Sighs), where we will enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

DAY 8: CALAFATE

OPTIONAL TOUR

SHARED FULL DAY ALL GLACIERS NAVIGATION $437.00 per person

From the Port of Punta Bandera. 47 km from El Calafate. We begin navigation through the North Arm of Lake Argentino. Cross the Boca del Diablo to the Upsala Canal and to navigate among the great icebergs that emerge from the front of the Upsala Glacier.

Then we enter the Spegazzini Channel and moments later we will have the first view of the Dry Glacier. We continue sailing to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier where we will also see the Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers. We prepare to disembark at the base * Spegazzini and begin the visit to the area walking through the forest path to the Spegazzini Refuge (next to be inaugurated). This 300-meter path is accessible and when we cross it we stop at stations and viewpoints overlooking the entire Bay of Los Glaciares.

In the shelter we can have lunch. visit the shop or contemplate the aqueuos landscape that you like to walk. You can take the mountain path. This route is a trekking of medium difficulty through a wooded path with natural viewpoints, full of incredible views that ends at the landing point.
