Upon arrival, you will be assisted at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: :AM HALF DAY - CITY TOUR: TOUR OF COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA / VISIT TO THE LARCO MUSEUM
You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a “huaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima’s citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

HALF DAY BOHEMIAN & ARTISTIC BARRANCO WALKING TOUR
You will explore Lima's creative hub: visit artists' workshops, handicraft shops, and enjoy some of the best street art next to spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and Lima Bay. Among beautiful historic architecture, you will learn about the history of the city, full of lovely roads, old houses, and small plazas, as well as buzzing cafes and restaurants. Take a stroll along the "malecon" and the famous "Bridge of Sighs"; visit the Barranco Main Square and hidden spots that only locals know. A visit to a renowned Peruvian artist's home and atelier will give you a sense of the boheme atmosphere this area has had since many years ago. And a brief stop at a prestigious local muralist's workshop, whose pieces adorn many streets of the neighborhood, will show you how creativity continues to be in the heart of the Barranco experience. You will also get to take a peek at the areas' best Peruvian art and handicraft stores. And to seal off the journey, you will enjoy a coffee along the route at a specialty cafe and chocolate shop frequented by locals.

Traditional art is an expression of a country’s History. The stunning collection that artist brothers Joaquín and Mateo Liébana have inherited from their father Jaime is a perfect example of this. A visit to the Liébana House invites guests to travel in time and across the entire Peruvian territory. From masks, paintings, carved wood and stone pieces, to pottery, silver ornaments and an endless array of unique art items, this collection is truly one-of-a-kind. There are also hand-crafted furniture and other wood art work for sale, a family business that Joaquín has continued.
